COVID Today was conceived as a digital public information platform to make reliable, real-time COVID-19 data accessible to a wide audience across India. Developed during the early and most uncertain phase of the pandemic, the initiative brought together epidemiological data from multiple verified sources and presented it through a unified and continuously updated interface. Its primary purpose was to enable citizens, researchers, media professionals, and public health observers to follow the progression of the pandemic through clear and contextualized information. By transforming fragmented datasets into a coherent public resource, the platform strengthened access to evidence at a time when timely and trustworthy information was critical.
